WHAT IS THE MEETING PURPOSE?
The purpose of this meeting is to bring together a diverse array of national and international stakeholders in cannabis policy, representing a range of perspectives and opinions, to engage in discussions with CANNRA member regulators and other attendees on cannabis regulatory and policy topics. We purposefully seek to avoid an echo chamber and seek to engage groups that have differing viewpoints. Opinions and perspectives shared at this meeting represent those of the individuals or organizations sharing them and do not necessarily represent CANNRA or CANNRA members.
WHO ATTENDS?
Any nationally focused entity that CANNRA is able to identify who is working on cannabis policy, policy implementation, or regulation is invited to this meeting. This includes organizations working on the following topics related to cannabis: consumer and product safety, research, standards, technology, policy, advocacy, social justice, equity, data, legal issues, public health, compliance, and clinical engagement. Attendees are restricted to those groups working at the national and/or international level. Due to capacity, no state-level trade associations, coalitions, or advocacy groups are included. Although direct cannabis licensees are not invited, they may be present at the meeting representing other invited organizations (e.g., trade associations, coalitions, advocacy groups). To maximize participation, and to avoid any one group having outsized participation, no more than two people per invited stakeholder group are permitted to attend.
