A NONPARTISAN ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENT AGENCIES
REGULATING CANNABIS AND CANNABINOIDS
Our mission is to convene, educate, and support government jurisdictions responsible for implementing cannabis and cannabinoid policies and regulations. We do this by fostering collaboration and coordination to identify and share best practices that safeguard public health and consumer safety, promote equity, and create regulatory certainty.
Engagement
Cannabis and Hemp Regulators and State and Territorial Agency Partners
We work with cannabis and hemp regulatory agencies, public health and safety agencies, environment & energy agencies, agricultural agencies, departments of transportation, and other state agencies engaged in aspects of cannabis and cannabinoid policy implementation. If your office or agency regulates cannabis or cannabinoids, or aides in the implementation or enforcement of cannabis laws in your state or territory, contact us to become a member or to collaborate.
Elected Officials & Policymakers
Helping public officials at the state and federal level to understand the myriad of issues surrounding cannabis legalization is central to our mission. We provide officials from all levels of government with insights from the field, including lessons learned from jurisdictions that are essential to the implementation of responsible cannabis and cannabinoid laws. Contact us with questions about cannabis and hemp policy implementation and regulation, to understand the current regulatory landscape across states, to arrange a briefing on a topic, or to invite CANNRA members to participate in legislative hearings or policy workgroups.
Advocacy Organizations & Industry Participants
We partner with advocacy organizations, coalitions, trade associations, and other entities that are at the forefront of this evolving industry. We know the vital role these groups play in steering cannabis and cannabinoid policy and the importance of understanding the range of perspectives on cannabis policy issues and regulations. Advocacy organizations, coalitions, community groups, industry trade associations, and related groups are encouraged to contact us to learn how CANNRA engages with stakeholders.
